This is a fine example of a spinning chair, slim and compact with a delightful carved backrest and octagonal seat. The Celtic design and cut out heart are simply charming. Thought to be from the late 1800, early 1900s it really is a delightful piece.
In excellent vintage condition, this chair is sturdy and shows minimal signs of wear. Thought to be either mahogany or oak, the colour is mid to dark brown.
Size: Seat 31.5cm wide x 40cm deep x 88cm tall backrest. The seat height is 32.5cm high. Feet splay 41cm wide.
