This renowned piece, affectionately called the 'Lobster Pot' due to its resemblence to a lobster pot, was designed by Franco Albini in 1951. In the absence of any maker's mark, this piece has been classified as 'Albini Style'. Despite normal signs of wear, it remains a highly functional piece with a few cosmetic issues, such as broken bamboo twine in places, and minor damage to some internal struts and three canes in the central ring at the top. These issues can be addressed if desired, though they do not affect the footstool's performance.
A timeless and highly stylish piece!
